Karla Neiman, manager of the two stores, wanted to assist Kans for Kids in their efforts to provide emotional and financial support for Barton County children living with cancer, so both stores are selling paper Christmas stockings for a $1 suggested donation to the local organization. Donors may then write their name on the stocking and hang it in the store. </div> <div>     Kans for Kids is currently providing assistance for 5-year-old Dade Cannon and 12-year-old Aaron Fryberger, both of Great Bend, both diagnosed with leukemia in the spring of 2009. Both boys are currently undergoing 2 1/2 years of treatment in Kansas City. </div> <div>     According to Kans for Kids director, Debbie Reif, "We are so grateful for the support Karla and employees are providing for us this holiday season. As of last Saturday, Cerv's was leading in the race to see which store can raise the most." </div> <div>     Anyone wishing to donate may do so by stopping by either store through Dec. 24th.
